AUS BEAUTY BLOGGER.

Hi beauties!

The Autumn edition of the parcel FINALLY arrived after waiting what felt like years since receiving the Summer edit.

Majority of inclusions in this season's edit - more below!
I had no previous inclination about what the box would entail, other than the lip balm that had been posted on their official social media sites.

Now let's get to what you all came here for—the products.

The first item is a sample of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent, which retails for $95.00. It's described as "the essence of summer" and contains ingredients such as mandarin, amber, lemon and orange. Personally I find the smell quite pungent in the respect that it smells like a fruity liquor of some kind. If you're someone that prefers a lighter, more delicate scent, then I think stray away from this.

Next is the Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules - Daily Youth Restoring serum ($140.00). According to the booklet, this formula delivers triple the anti-ageing power to enhance skin's barrier repair function, replenish essential lipids and support the skin's natural renewal process. Sounds like a winner.

Now for the only makeup item in the box (if you would even consider it makeup anyway). Having used Burt's Bees lip balms in the past, I had high hopes for this product. This product works the same as the lip balms and works to re-hydrate the lips whilst adding a unique tint. My shade is called 'Carolina Coast' and unfortunately it's not necessarily the shade of lip tint I'd go for as this is more of a 'barbie' pink and washes out my pale skin. Nevertheless, I think if you were to pick this up in the ideal shade of your choice, it would be perfect for on the go when you need an extra hit of moisture and flush of colour without using lipstick! The Lip Crayon comes with 3.11g and retails for $16.95!
Burt's Bees Lip Crayon - Carolina Coast (423)
Perfection! My eyes lit up when I spot these little beauties in the box. I recently have dyed my hair from a bleach blonde to a dark blonde, but still have glimmers of blonde highlights peaking through from underneath. It's imperative with bleached blonde hair to maintain its crisp blonde colour and detain any brassiness coming through to prolong your next hairdresser visit! The John Frieda Sheer Blonde Colour Renew Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $17.99, but we're only provided with small sample sizes in the box. These products claim to contain colour-correcting technology to neutralise yellow tones, banish brassiness, and renew blonde colour! So excited to give these a test and I'm pleased they've included the whole set of shampoo and conditioner of this range!

Now into the skin care products. The first one being the BIODERMA Sebium Pore Refiner, retailing for $36.99. This sample claims to mattify, refine and smooth the skin's texture and tighten pores. Skin is left shine-free, radiant, and the product provides a powdery finish, making for a fantastic make-up base. From the sounds of it this would be ideal for combination to oilier skin types, who need extra moisture to be absorbed before applying their foundation. I have dry skin so I'll be passing it on to my family but still might give it ago to observe its pore controlling abilities!

JERGENS Hydrating Coconut Lotion (250ml) is next ($6.99 - wow!). This product denotes that it contains a unique illuminating blend and nourishing hydrators. Sounds promising!

Be warned that this next product actually leaked in my box, making all my products a powdery (thank god it was only powder!) mess. I thought my eyes had deceived me when I clasped it at first, second guessing whether they'd made a mistake and put bi-carb soda for cake baking in my beauty box. But nevertheless, it was indeed bi-carb soda, but in a scrub form. The Biore Baking Soda Scrub (125g) ($10.99) is an oil-free cleaning scrub, whose powder activates with water, gently exfoliating the skin and naturally dissolving. It claims to deeply clean pores and leave skin smoother in just one week!

A sample of Palmer's Cocoa Butter Moisture Rich Night Cream is a wonderful addition to the box, and retails for $14.99. It contains Retinol (WOOHOO) and vitamin E to result in smoother, younger looking skin. It also contains peptides to protect cell structure and repair skin overnight. For those of you who aren't aware, there has been a recent buzz in the beauty community that retinol is not only fabulous for providing smoother skin but indeed has powers to delay the skin-aging process - so might as well get on it while you're young, I say!

La Roche-Posay's Micellar Water Ultra for Reactive Skin ($25.95) claims to be a gentle, rinse-free cleanser to remove make-up, dirt and impurities without redness! Sounds interesting, though I always rinse my skin after taking off my makeup to ensure I'm fresh for the next day!

I hope this was helpful in deciding whether you want to pick up this season's edit of The Parcel by Marie Claire. Personally I found the items to be quite whimsical and predominantly skin-care related. I definitely would like the box to delve back into make-up products as these used to be prevalent back when the box first started and where my personal passions lie but I'll definitely get to using up these products in anticipation for the next parcel!

The Winter Edit 2016 of Marie Claire's 'The Parcel' arrived at my doorstep this morning, and if you're curious as to what this edition holds, then you've come to the right place!

A re-addition to the parcel is the MOR Rosa Noir Hand & Body milk in a small sample size. This smells heavenly so I'm not complaining about having a spare back up.

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate in a 7ml size is a new addition, and is said to be used to encourage the skin's natural renewal process for healthier skin that glows.

I was surprised that this was included in the box - a Colgate Optic White High Impact White Toothpaste in a 21g size. I love this stuff as you can literally see results within days! But... is it really suitable for a beauty box?

A 25ml bottle (which is TINY) of Klorane Shampoo with Quinine and B Vitamins is also in this parcel, which claims to be designed especially for weakened hair as it strengthens the keratin, helps restore thickness and maintains healthy hair growth! Sounds perfect as I have extremely weak hair due to bleaching!

A Rituals Cosmetics Fortune Oil in a 20ml bottle is another new addition. This is to be used in the shower as the oil transforms into a rich hydrating foam  to leave the skin delicately scented.

A generous offering in this parcel is a full sized Nivea Sensitive Caring Micellar Water. I generally use the Garnier one but I adore the Nivea eye makeup remover so this ought to be fantastic!

Another great item is the John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Anti-Frizz Primer! This is a leave-in treatment which realigns the structure of each hair strand and boosting its immunity to frizz!

A full sized Garnier Wake Up Cream is in this parcel, which helps in increasing the look of radiant skin.

A tinted lip balm by Burt's Bees is in this parcel, which is convenient as I lost mine a couple months ago.

And finally, a bonus item is a sample of the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector. Luckily I received the light shade so I'll definitely be giving it a go.

Hope this helps you in deciding whether you want to pick up The Winter Edit 2016 of The Parcel by Marie Claire! Personally I wish they would increase the amount of higher end brands in these kits (as I believe that they used to include items from Benefit and so forth) as although Garnier and Nivea are great and affordable, it's not really what I desire from a more luxuriously branded beauty box. I've already signed up for the whole year but if the boxes keep continuing in this pattern I won't be renewing again.

Hey guys! Today the The Parcel by Marie Claire: Summer Edit 2015 arrived at my doorstep so I've taken a couple snaps of what comes in the box for anyone interested!

You can purchase the parcel from the website, and if you want to purchase the box by itself as a one-time purchase it is $25! I however purchased the annual subscription a couple months ago when they were having a special discounted offer!

First off let me say that I love what's in this parcel. The spring edit was slightly disappointing as there wasn't really much I could personally use in the box, so I ended up giving it all to my mother hahaha!

There are 13 items in this edition of the parcel.

The Summer Edit of The Parcel

The box

The Parcel comes with two 60ml OGX Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner. The 385ml full version of these are retailed at $17.99 each.

The Trilogy Make-Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm in 10ml. The full 80ml retails at $36.90!

This is the Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster (5ml) used to revitalize and provide supple, smooth and radiant-looking skin.

Swisse Deep Sea Hydrating Mist Toner (15ml) - this is used to hydrate, rejuvenate and tone the skin to give your face a more youthful look.

The parcel also includes a sample of the Michael Kors Gold Collection perfume. I'm actually in love with this perfume! To me it has a florally yet quite sweet scent.

This is the Maybelline New York Color Elixir by Color Sensational. The photo above is of the shade "100 Petal Plush" which is a normal pink lip gloss despite it looking much more peachy in the photo.

The box also includes a full size of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure which retails at $14.95! The colour you recieve is quite random but I was fortunate enough to recieve the shade "160 Shell we dance" which is a distinct "french-manicure" sort of colour! Definitely something I'm going to use all the time.

This is the Paula's Choice Vitamin C Spot Treatment which retails at $70 for 15ml. The 5ml sample states it is ideal for spot-treating wrinkles, and targeting brown spots and post-acne discolourations.

The parcel also includes the Maybelline The Colossal Pumped Up Volum'Express Mascara which is $19.95 in stores.

These are the Lonvitalite Face Masks which are sold in packs of 5 for $39 in the stores. In the parcel you receive two masks.

Last but definitely not least, you recieve a Zoeva eyeshadow brush! I ADORE these brushes. The brushes that you have the chance of getting are either the 227 Luxe Soft Definer (I have this one and I use it as a blending brush!), or the 228 Luxe Crease brush, or the 230 Luxe Pencil brush - a fine, tapered brush which is what I was lucky enough to receive! It was after all the one I really wanted out of the 3 possibilities!

I highly recommend grabbing this box before they run out (because they have in the past and it's not a fun time...).
